WHY JUST BUILD A BRAND? DEVELOP A MOVEMENT
Since its conception, Kludee London has always been much more than just a footwear brand. It is a company that stands on the foundation of empowering women, an ideology with renewed impetus in society of today.
It can be said that women are the future. But the future is now! Ever grounded in the present, at its core, this brand supports family businesses in its handmade production using ethically sourced materials from Europe. Kludee London takes a pragmatic stance towards sustainable growth with a view towards future innovative solutions in its forthcoming collections.
'STRENGTH OF THE FEMALE COLLECTIVE'
Along the banks of the Thames, as our crew were shaking with cold, they certainly did not let it impact what we were producing. The decision was made very early on that it was important for this shoot to remain somewhat informal and improvised - not hiring professional models, and simply working the shots around a basic concept rather than prescriptive planning - and I think this camaraderie is represented in what was captured on the day, with great thanks to our photographer, Filip Plaskowski.
'CONFIDENCE AND ATTITUDE'
Kludee London values the power given to the individual wearer and the strength of the female collective embodying a sense of self-assured confidence and attitude.
All of these expressions were felt so poignantly in Kludee's pre-release shoot at the end of last year. This shoot encapsulated all that this brand hopes to project - showcasing the quality of its products with the help of a dedicated team of people. While late October may not have been the most ideal time to be shooting.

There will be much more to come from Kludee London in the future I am sure, especially from all that I have seen from the team behind the brand. I came away from this day feeling truly empowered myself.
Kludee created by a dynamic mother- daughter duo takes modern women as inspiration with the idea to boost each one's personality and confidence while walking in their heels and that was truly present.
The small scale of the production crew allowed for a free flowing of ideas and all were invited to contribute (certainly one of the most inclusive shoots I have ever been a part of).
As a freelance runner, I regularly assist with photoshoot production, so to be able to lend a hand in support of a brand that represents women like me was a privilege. While this shoot was not without its challenges - the dying autumn light and freezing conditions to name a few - it is thanks to all involved (and maybe a few shots of Don Juilio to stave off the cold) that this shoot turned out successfully. We ended our day of shooting with a family meal in a local restaurant, toasting to more moments like these and a drive for future success for us all.
